Brighton West Pier

1866 West Pier 14x5.5” Purple Heart snare drum, stave built from the deck from Brighton’s West Pier. Now a rusting corpse, the West Pier was once a wonderful example of a Victorian Pier, complete with a concert hall. Closed due to high maintenance costs in 1975, the concert hall collapsed after a storm in 2003, shortly before a mysterious fire destroyed the rest of the pier. This drum is owned by Todd Sucherman.
