TWR Jaguar XJS

1975 “TWR” Jaguar XJS V12 14x6” aluminium snare drum cast from the engine's inlet manifolds. Tom Walkinshaw, a successful touring car racer, founded the TWR Racing/Engineering Co. in 1976. In 1982 he achieved a number of wins with a Jaguar XJS in the European Touring Championships followed by a Le Mans win in 1990 with a V12 powered XJR-9. He later helped form JaguarSport which culminated in the production of the XJ220 and XJR-15 supercars.
